I believe every believer has their faith story to tell.
How did they meet Christ as their savior, what was the moment that they received Christ?
As a believer walks their faith journey, often time they forget how they started to live a Christian life.
There was a time, I was reflecting on how I became a Christian and lived a Christian life.
There are a couple of circumstances in that I received grace from God to be a Christian.
Also, my faith journey has a relationship with my family's immigrant history.
I would like to layout especially focused on a faith journey in this post.
I am going to make two posts on my Christian faith journey.
I have been a Protestant believer since I was born.
I received grace from God I have had the opportunity to become a Christian since an infant.
I realize this grace when I study my family roots, which neither of my parents' families has Christian roots.

My mother became Christian through immigrants to the United States.
My mother and grandparents were a member of a church called Oriental Mission Chruch, so call OMC.
My mother was an active member of the church that she served as a Sunday School teacher.
A Sunday School teacher is the only thing I heard which is what she did before her marriage to my father.
She was also involved in her age group and had a great fellowship and grew her faith in Christ.
I could hear an update about my mother's serving history from one of her students after time has passed a long time.
There were a time teacher and a student reunited in one place in which the student has grown up as an adult.
The student was excited to tell how my mother's students have been grown up.
This is just part of the memory I heard.
My mother also told me how she got benefited from serving as a Sunday School teacher and enjoyed it very much.

My Father was a non-Christian believer until his college years.
When he got accepted to one of the top universities in Seoul, he had a chance to hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ through the college chapel.
His school is called Yonsei University which school found by an American missionary in Korea.
His major was Pre-Med one Yonsei is a well-known major.
My Father has a big heart to serve patients with his skill who have a hard time visiting the hospital.
My Father's faith journey has some up and down.
When my father married my mother, they attend the same church well.
When we were in Korea, there were times when my father did not go to church for a while.
I am not going to detail about reasons why he did not attend church in Korea for a while.
Actually, I do not remember why he did that.
The most important matter is that a few years later, my father's committed to accepting Christ as his savior and walking the faith journey.

I am blessed to have my parents who are living the Christian life.
I am living by my parents' prayer and the grace of God.
I could finish my Master of Divinity through my parents' prayer and their living support.
I briefly mentioned my parents' faith journey in this section.
I only covered little events that I remembered hearing from my parents.
I would not exist today without my parents.
That's why I mentioned them to connect how I can live as a Christian.
I will tell my faith story in part two with a few major events that I faced personally.
Please stay tuned...
